Lukas 2:25

Er was in Jeruzalem iemand die Simeon heette. Hij was een oprecht mens met veel eerbied voor God. Hij keek uit naar de tijd dat Israël getroost zou worden en de Heilige Geest rustte op hem.

And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
