જો કોઈનું અર્પણ જાનવરના દહનીયાર્પણનું હોય, તો તે નર હોવું જોઈએ અને તે ખોડખાંપણ વગરનું હોવું જોઈએ. તેણે જાનવરને મુલાકાતમંડપના પ્રવેશદ્વાર આગળ ચઢાવવું, જેથી તે પોતે યહોવાહની આગળ માન્ય થાય.

If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
