તોપણ, કેટલાક પશુઓની માત્ર ખરી ફાટવાળી હોય અથવા જે માત્ર વાગોળતાં હોય તે પશુઓ તમારે ખાવાં જોઈએ નહિ, જેમ કે ઊંટ, કેમ કે તે વાગોળે છે પણ તેની ખરી ફાટેલી નથી. તેથી ઊંટ તમારે માટે અશુદ્ધ છે.

Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
