જો તેઓ પાણીના ટાંકામાં, ઝરણાંમાં કે જ્યાં પીવાના પાણીનો સંગ્રહ થાય છે તેમાં પડે તો તે પાણી શુદ્ધ ગણાય. પણ જો કોઈ પાણીની અંદરના શબનો સ્પર્શ કરે તો તે અશુદ્ધ ગણાય.

Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcase shall be unclean.
