Irmak suları üzerinde bulunan keten giyinmiş adamın, sağ elini ve sol elini göğe kaldırarak, sonsuza dek yaşayanın hakkı için ant içtiğini duydum; bir vakit, vakitler, yarım vakit olacak; kutsal halkın gücünü kırmayı bitirdikleri zaman, bütün bu şeyler bitecektir.
