왕이 요압과 아비새와 잇대에게 명하여 가로되 `나를 위하여 소년 압살롬을 너그러이 대접하라' 하니 왕이 압살롬을 위하여 모든 군장에게 명령할 때에 백성들이 다 들으니라

And the king commanded Joab and Abishai and Ittai, saying, Deal gently for my sake with the young man, even with Absalom. And all the people heard when the king gave all the captains charge concerning Absalom.
