యెహోషాపాతు యెరూషలేములో నివసించాడు. బెయేర్షెబా నుంచి ఎఫ్రాయిము కొండ ప్రాంతం వరకూ ఉన్న ప్రజల దగ్గరికి తిరిగి వెళ్లి, వారి పూర్వీకుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా వైపుకు వారిని మళ్ళించాడు.

And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beer-sheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the LORD God of their fathers.
