సౌలు తన సేవకులతో ఇలా ఆజ్ఞాపించాడు “మీరు దావీదుతో రహస్యంగా మాట్లాడండి, ‘రాజుకు నువ్వంటే ఇష్టం కలిగింది. రాజు సేవకులంతా నీపట్ల స్నేహంగా ఉన్నారు. కాబట్టి నువ్వు రాజుకు అల్లుడివి కావాలి’ అని చెప్పండి.”
