વહાલાંઓ, દરેક આત્મા પર વિશ્વાસ ન રાખો, પણ આત્માઓ ઈશ્વરથી છે કે નહિ એ વિષે તેઓને પારખી જુઓ; કેમ કે દુનિયામાં જૂઠાં પ્રબોધકો ઘણાં ઊભા થયા છે.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
