സെഫന്യാവു 2:15

ഞാനേയുള്ളു; ഞാനല്ലാതെ മറ്റാരുമില്ല എന്നു ഹൃദയത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞു നിർഭയം വസിച്ചിരുന്ന ഉല്ലസിതനഗരം ഇതു തന്നേ; അതു ശൂന്യവും മൃഗങ്ങൾക്കു കിടപ്പിടവുമായ്തീർന്നതെങ്ങനെ; അതിന്നരികെ കൂടിപോകുന്ന ഏവനും ചൂളകുത്തി കൈ കുലുക്കും.

This is the rejoicing city that dwelt carelessly, that said in her heart, I am, and there is none beside me: how is she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down in! every one that passeth by her shall hiss, and wag his hand.
