સફાન્યા 1:3

હું માણસ તથા પશુઓનો નાશ કરીશ. હું આકાશના પક્ષીઓને તથા સમુદ્રની માછલીઓને પણ નષ્ટ કરીશ, અને દુષ્ટોની સાથે ઠોકર ખવડાવનારી વસ્તુઓનો પણ વિનાશ કરીશ. કેમ કે પૃથ્વીની સપાટી પરથી હું માણસનો નાશ કરીશ,” એવું યહોવાહ કહે છે.

I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD.
