സെഖര്യാവു 7:14

ഞാൻ ഒരു ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റുകൊണ്ടു അവരെ അവർ അറിയാത്ത സകലജാതികളുടെയും ഇടയിൽ പാറ്റിക്കളഞ്ഞു; ദേശമോ ആരും പോക്കുവരത്തില്ലാതവണ്ണം അവരുടെ പിമ്പിൽ ശൂന്യമായ്തീർന്നു; അങ്ങനെ അവർ മനോഹരദേശത്തെ ശൂന്യമാക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations whom they knew not. Thus the land was desolate after them, that no man passed through nor returned: for they laid the pleasant land desolate.
