గొర్రెల కాపరుల రోదన శబ్దం వినిపిస్తుంది. ఎందుకంటే వారి శ్రేష్ఠమైన పచ్చిక మైదానాలు నాశనం అయ్యాయి. కొదమ సింహాల గర్జన వినబడుతున్నది. ఎందుకంటే యొర్దాను లోయలోని అడవులు పాడైపోయాయి.

¶ There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
