જે કામ અધૂરાં હતાં તે તું યથાસ્થિત કરે અને જેમ મેં તને આજ્ઞા આપી હતી તેમ તું નગરેનગર વડીલો ઠરાવે; તે માટે મેં તને ક્રીતમાં રાખ્યો હતો.

For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
