పరమ గీతము 8:6

నీ చేతిమీదున్న పచ్చబొట్టులా నీ గుండె మీద నా పచ్చబొట్టు పొడిపించుకో. ఎందుకంటే ప్రేమకు చావుకున్నంత బలముంది. మోహం పాతాళంతో సమానమైన తీవ్రత గలది. దాని మంటలు ఎగిసి పడతాయి. అది మండే అగ్నిజ్వాల. ఏ అగ్ని మంటలకన్నా అది తీవ్రమైనది.

¶ Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.
