ઘણાં પાણીનો પ્રવાહ પ્રેમને હોલવી શકે નહિ, જળપ્રલયનાં પાણી એને ખેંચી જતાં નથી. જે કોઈ વ્યક્તિ પ્રેમને માટે પોતાની ઘરની બધી સંપત્તિ આપી દે, તોપણ તેને લોકો ધિક્કારે છે.

Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.
