പ്രിയാ, വരിക; നാം വെളിംപ്രദേശത്തു പോക; നമുക്കു ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ ചെന്നു രാപാർക്കാം.

Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.
