(ఆ యువతి మిగతా స్త్రీలతో మాట్లాడుతూ ఉంది) యెరూషలేము ఆడపడుచులారా, నేను నల్లటి పిల్లనే కానీ అందగత్తెను. కేదారు డేరాల్లాగా, సొలొమోను రాజభవనం తెరల్లాగా నేను అందగత్తెను.

I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.
