Als ge het niet weet, Schoonste der vrouwen, Volg dan het spoor van de kudde, En hoed uw geiten Bij de tenten der herders.

¶ If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds’ tents.
