യെരൂശലേംപുത്രിമാരേ, ഞാൻ കറുത്തവൾ എങ്കിലും കേദാര്യകൂടാരങ്ങളെപ്പോലെയും ശലോമോന്റെ തിരശ്ശീലകളെപ്പോലെയും അഴകുള്ളവൾ ആകുന്നു.

I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.
