Ze sliep dus aan zijn voeten tot de volgende morgen. Maar nog vóór men elkaar kon herkennen, stond ze reeds op; want hij dacht: Men behoeft niet te weten, dat de vrouw op het dorsveld geweest is.

¶ And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor.
