ரூத் 2:2

மோவாபிய பெண்ணாகிய ரூத் என்பவள் நகோமியைப் பார்த்து: நான் வயல்வெளிக்குப் போய், யாருடைய கண்களில் எனக்குத் தயவு கிடைக்குமோ, அவர் பின்னே போய் கதிர்களைப் பொறுக்கிக்கொண்டு வருகிறேன் என்றாள்; அதற்கு இவள்: என் மகளே, போ என்றாள்.

And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.
