Romeinen 9:32

Waarom? Omdat zij die zochten niet uit het geloof, maar als uit de werken der wet, want zij hebben zich gestoten aan den steen des aanstoots;

Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
