เราทั้งหลายรู้​แล​้​วว​่า ​มนุษย์​​เก​่าของเรานั้นได้​ถู​กตรึงไว้กับพระองค์​แล้ว​ เพื่อตั​วท​ี่บาปนั้นจะถูกทำลายให้​สิ​้นไป เพื่อเราจะไม่เป็นทาสของบาปอีกต่อไป

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
