Romanos 4:16

Assim, a promessa se baseia na fé em Deus. E ela é dada como um presente, sem que nada seja cobrado em troca, garantida a todos os descendentes de Abraão. A promessa não é apenas para aqueles que seguem a lei , mas também para os que creem, como Abraão, o pai de todos nós.

Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
