A promessa de Deus para Abraão e para os seus descendentes, de que o mundo pertenceria a ele, não foi por ele cumprir a lei, mas por ele ser considerado justo por sua fé em Deus.

For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
