Romeinen 4:16

Daarom is het (alles) uit geloof, opdat het zou zijn naar genade, en dus de belofte zou gelden voor al het nageslacht, niet alleen voor wie uit de wet, maar ook voor wie uit het geloof van Abraham zijn, die de vader van ons allen is,

Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
