రోమీయులకు రాసిన పత్రిక 3:25

క్రీస్తు యేసు రక్తంలో విశ్వాసం ద్వారా పాప పరిహారం పొందేలా దేవుడు తన కోపాగ్నిని తొలగించే పాప పరిహారార్ధ బలిగా ఆయనను కనుపరిచాడు. అందులో దేవుని ఉద్దేశం తన న్యాయాన్ని ప్రదర్శించడమే. ఎందుకంటే, గతంలోని పాపాలను దేవుడు సహనంతో దాటిపోయాడు.

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
