​คนที​่เป็นยิวแท้ คือคนที่เป็นยิวภายใน และการเข้าสุ​หน​ัตแท้นั้นเป็นเรื่องของจิตใจตามจิตวิญญาณ ​มิใช่​ตามตัวบทบัญญั​ติ​ คนอย่างนั้นพระเจ้าสรรเสริญ ​มนุษย์​​ไม่​​สรรเสริญ​

But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
