ரோமர் 13:1

எந்த மனிதனும் உயர் அதிகாரம் உள்ளவர்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியவேண்டும்; ஏனென்றால், தேவனாலேயல்லாமல் ஒரு அதிகாரமும் இல்லை; உண்டாயிருக்கிற அதிகாரங்கள் தேவனாலே நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
