Romeinen 13:4

Zij staat namelijk in Gods dienst ten behoeve van jou. Maar als je doet wat slecht is, wees dan bang, want zij draagt het zwaard niet voor niets. Als dienares van God is zij de uitvoerder van Gods straf voor wie kwaad doet.

For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
