રોમનોને પત્ર 13:1

દરેક માણસે મુખ્ય અધિકારીઓને આધીન રહેવું; કેમ કે ઈશ્વરના તરફથી ન હોય એવો કોઈ અધિકાર હોતો નથી; જે અધિકારીઓ છે તેઓ ઈશ્વરથી નિમાયેલા છે;

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
