റോമർ 12:19

പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ, നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്യാതെ ദൈവകോപത്തിന്നു ഇടംകൊടുപ്പിൻ; പ്രതികാരം എനിക്കുള്ളതു; ഞാൻ പകരം ചെയ്യും എന്നു കർത്താവു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. എന്നാൽ

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
