ઓ વહાલાઓ, તમે સામું વૈર ન વાળો, પણ ઈશ્વરના કોપને માટે માર્ગ મૂકો; કેમ કે લખેલું છે કે, પ્રભુ કહે છે કે, ‘વૈર વાળવું એ મારું કામ છે; હું બદલો લઈશ.’”

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
