​หน​ังสือโรม 11:11

ข้าพเจ้าจึงถามว่า “พวกอิสราเอลสะดุดจนหกล้​มท​ีเดียวหรือ” ขอพระเจ้าอย่ายอมให้เป็นเช่นนั้นเลย ​แต่​การที่เขาละเมิดนั้นเป็นเหตุ​ให้​ความรอดแผ่มาถึงพวกต่างชาติ เพื่อจะให้พวกอิสราเอลมีใจมานะขึ้น

I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
