Romeinen 11:22

We zien dus dat God zowel mild als streng is: streng voor wie gevallen is, maar mild voor jou – op voorwaarde dat je op zijn mildheid blijft vertrouwen. Want anders word jij ook weggekapt.

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
