Je hebt dus geen reden om te vinden dat je beter bent dan die andere takken. Dat zou arrogant zijn, want de wortel steunt niet op jou, maar jij steunt op de wortel.

Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
