રોમનોને પત્ર 11:11

ત્યારે હું પૂછું છું કે, ‘શું તેઓએ એ માટે ઠોકર ખાધી કે તેઓ પડી જાય?’ ના, એવું ન થાઓ, પણ ઊલટું તેઓના પડવાથી બિનયહૂદીઓને ઉદ્ધાર મળ્યો છે, કે જેનાંથી ઇઝરાયલમાં ઈર્ષ્યા ઉત્પન્ન થાય.

I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
