முதலாம் தூதன் எக்காளம் ஊதினான்; அப்பொழுது இரத்தம் கலந்த கல்மழையும் அக்கினியும் உண்டாகி, பூமியிலே கொட்டப்பட்டது; அதினால் மரங்களில் மூன்றில் ஒரு பங்கு வெந்துபோனது, பசும்புல்லெல்லாம் எரிந்துபோனது.

The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
