จงเขียนถึงทูตสวรรค์​แห่​งคริสตจักรที่เมืองฟีลาเดลเฟีย ​ว่า​ ‘​พระองค์​​ผู้บริสุทธิ์​ ​ผู้​​สัตย์​​จริง​ ​ผู้​ทรงถือลู​กก​ุญแจของดาวิด ​ผู้​ทรงเปิดแล้วจะไม่​มี​​ผู้​ใดปิด ​ผู้​ทรงปิดแล้วจะไม่​มี​​ผู้​ใดเปิด ​ได้​ตรั​สด​ังนี้​ว่า​

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
