சிமிர்னா சபையின் தூதனுக்கு நீ எழுதவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: முந்தினவரும் பிந்தினவரும், மரித்தோரிலிருந்து உயிரோடு எழுந்தவருமானவர் சொல்லுகிறதாவது;

And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
