​สิ​่งใดที่เป็นมลทิน หรือผู้ใดก็​ตามที่​กระทำสิ่งที่​น่าสะอิดสะเอียน​ หรือพู​ดม​ุสาจะเข้าไปในเมืองไม่​ได้​​เลย​ ​เว้นแต่​เฉพาะคนที่​มี​ชื่อจดไว้ในหนังสือแห่งชีวิตของพระเมษโปดกเท่านั้นจึงจะเข้าไปได้

And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
