యోహాను రాసిన ప్రకటన గ్రంథం 20:12

చనిపోయిన వారు గొప్పవారైనా అల్పులైనా ఆ సింహాసనం ఎదుట నిలబడి ఉండడం చూశాను. అప్పుడు గ్రంథాలు తెరిచారు. మరో గ్రంథాన్ని కూడా తెరిచారు. అది జీవ గ్రంథం. ఆ గ్రంథాల్లో తమ కార్యాలను గురించి రాసి ఉన్న దాన్ని బట్టి వారు తీర్పు పొందారు.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
