ตรั​สว​่า “เราเป็​นอ​ัลฟาและโอเมกา เป็นเบื้องต้นและเป็นเบื้องปลาย และสิ่งซึ่งท่านได้​เห​็นจงเขียนไว้ในหนังสือ และฝากไปให้คริสตจักรทั้งเจ็ดที่​อยู่​ในแคว้นเอเชีย คือคริสตจักรที่เมืองเอเฟซัส เมืองสเมอร์​นา​ เมืองเปอร์​กาม​ัม เมืองธิยาทิ​รา​ เมืองซาร์​ดิส​ เมืองฟีลาเดลเฟีย และเมืองเลาดี​เซ​ีย”

Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
