เพราะว่าประชาชาติทั้งปวงได้ดื่มเหล้าองุ่นแห่งความเดือดดาลในการล่วงประเวณีของนครนั้น และบรรดากษั​ตริ​ย์บนแผ่นดินโลกได้​ล่วงประเวณี​กับนครนั้น และพ่อค้าทั้งหลายแห่งแผ่นดินโลกก็​ได้​​มั่งมี​ขึ้นด้วยทรัพย์​ฟุ​่มเฟือยของนครนั้น”
