అయిదవ దూత తన పాత్రను క్రూరమృగం సింహాసనం పైన కుమ్మరించాడు. అప్పుడు వాడి రాజ్యం అంతా చీకటి అలముకుంది. మనుషులు ఈ యాతనలకి తట్టుకోలేక నాలుకలు కరచుకున్నారు.

And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
