Templet fylldes med rök från Guds härlighet och makt. [Rök symboliserar ofta Guds närvaro, se 2 Mos 40:34-38.] Ingen kunde gå in i templet förrän de sju änglarnas sju plågor hade nått sitt slut [fullbordat sitt syfte].

And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
