اَلْمَزَامِيرُ 99:8

أَيُّهَا ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا، أَنْتَ ٱسْتَجَبْتَ لَهُمْ. إِلَهًا غَفُورًا كُنْتَ لَهُمْ، وَمُنْتَقِمًا عَلَى أَفْعَالِهِمْ.

Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.
