ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 95:10

કેમ કે ચાળીસ વર્ષ સુધી હું તે પેઢીથી કંટાળી જતો હતો અને કહ્યું, ‘તે આ જ લોકો છે, કે જેઓનાં હૃદયો કુમાર્ગે ભટકી ગયાં છે; તેઓ મારા માર્ગો જાણતા નથી .’

Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
