ദൈവമേ, അഹങ്കാരികൾ എന്നോടു എതിർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഘോരന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടം എനിക്കു പ്രാണഹാനി വരുത്തുവാൻ നോക്കുന്നു. അവർ നിന്നെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.
